LL TAST and BFC practical exercise
From 15th to 17th of September 2015 LL TAST members participated in practical exercise together with high capacity pumping module “BaltFloodCombat” near city of Tytuvėnai, Lithuania.
First day of training LL TAST members were divided into four groups and given tasks to accomplish. First task was to go through simulated border cross into a country struck by natural disasters. This part of exercise was complete with car searches done by border guards with search dogs, filling in necessary documents and dealing with unexpected difficulties. Second part of first day exercise was for teams to set up RDC while the team leaders went to meet with LEMA autorities. All accomplished tasks were put in Virtual OSOCC.
Second day of training was carried out together with BFC. After arriving to the site teams were given different tasks – setting up OSOCC and support EUCPT, set up TAST office, set up BoO and support BFC. Exercise was closely monitored bay trainers and specialists.
On Third, the final day of the exercise, teams presented their feedback on the exercise and were given evaluation by trainers and observers of the exercise.
